I’m Al Waters, born and raised in Colchester, Essex.

Over the years, I’ve built a career rooted in sales, most notably as a Sales Executive at BMW.

Where I developed a passion for connecting with people and delivering exceptional results. Outside of work, I’ve always been drawn to creative pursuits like photography and videography, which inspired me to create Tidal Waters—a space to showcase my journey, skills, and aspirations.

During my time at Sainsbury’s, I successfully managed my own department, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring targets were consistently met. I led a team, motivating and supporting staff to deliver high standards of customer service while maintaining operational efficiency. Key responsibilities included stock management, scheduling, and performance monitoring to optimize productivity. I implemented strategies to streamline processes, resolve challenges, and foster a collaborative work environment. This role strengthened my leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as my ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining focus on team development and achieving business goals.
